Prices for gorilla trekking permits Uganda and Rwanda
With the cost attached to activity it sounds very expansive especially when you have just heard about it for the first time, But the feeling attached to first sight of the mountain gorillas is very hard to describe and time spent with this magical creatures, no body has ever complained of the cost of the trekking permit, it's really thrilling and an forgettable moment, if possible every body should experience in his lifetime.
Gorilla permits for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park were costing USD500.00 per person per trek, Uganda Wildlife Authority increased the prices to $600 USD per permit per trekk per person from the year 2014. there has seasons whereby Uganda Wildlife Authority has been offering discounted rates for gorilla permits in the low seasons.

Gorilla trekking permits are always booked in advance, only 8 peoples can be allowed to visit a gorilla family per day, for example in Uganda ten families have been habituated in bwindi impenetrable national park , meaning can only host 80 persons to trekk the mountain gorilla on a day.
Rwanda can also take 80 persons per day. same as in Uganda,But Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park has a slight edge over the rest because its gorillas are the most wholly habituated, and they are often found in bamboo than the dense forest which makes photographing easier.
